Non-monogamy can be any kind of sex-related partnership beyond an additional connection you might remain in. Love does not need to be involved, it can be totally physical. Polyamory suggests many loves, basically. It can be a sexual connection or a non-sexual however emotionally charming one, and also it still counts as polyamory.
